(Com)Passion: Feminism

Today's Theme: (Com)Passion: Causes and issues I am passionate about

Marci and Shayna went to meet a friend from American Jewish World Service for breakfast. Thankfully, they let me sleep, and dad woke me up around 10 am. I ate a leftover wrap from last night's dinner (which was just Shayna and me going down the street to a salad place) and watched Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Dad ended up watching with me, and throughout the day, we have had many fantastic discussions about what it means to be an advocate and/or a feminist.

June 20

I promised a quick update every day, so I will be staying true to that. We got back to the hotel very late last night, so I didn't have quite enough time to churn out a daily update. So I am doing it now.

Also, the list of themes for this blog will be going up very soon; I just have to make some decisions about what themes go when and where.

The day started after a good night's sleep (Friday, June 19 was a long day of traveling). We were meeting a family friend, Lynn and her daughter Leah, planning on going to Coney Island, but the forecast called for rain so we decided against it.

Blog Plans

Okay, we have danced around this problem since I started the blog (you know, two days ago...) I am fully aware of what has happened in past blogs. I am a flake. I know that. I know you all, my faithful followers, rely on me to sustain your wonderful quality of vicarious life through my daily posts. And I have let you down.
